Television as we know it, will die. Shows brought on television nowadays don’t have a very stimulating effect on my brains. Most of the time the shows are always the same and they just copy their newsitems from eachother and things get discussed dozen times. But ok, television doesn’t interest me much at all, only Kopspijkers is something where I look forward to every week 😉

My ‘vision’ is that Internet will overtake television as medium. Because Internet is much more interactive and also because the society is tired of going one direction and being told things by television. People are discussing about whether the media has too much influence on everything and that the media blow up everything. Furthermore, this BBC newsitem tells that people are spending more time on the Internet.

For me Internet has more to offer than the television as we know it today. Broadcasting for the mass will totally disappear. You just click on a site when you want to see a show or some clip. I think Internet is good for more diversity, because you are not limited by your country-borders. Perhaps my thoughts are simplistic, but so be it.
