I have been drumming for a short while now and still I am trying to get a feel for the basic rudiments and fills etc. I do really have to learn a lot! And I am not at all content with my current skills, but who knows it will increase every time (just like it does now). Anyway, I want to share my current skills and recordings with you. I have been drumming an easy song from Heather Nova, called Singing you through (original part of the song here).

And another song I have been drumming — some sort of almost in sync with the original drummer, but I can’t do dual triggered bassdrum yet 😉 — is from Visions of Atlantis, called State of Suspense. You can listen to my version here. The electric guitars of the band disguise my drums a little bit, but it is really me who you can hear 🙂

Still a lot to learn, but it’s a funny and entertaining and relaxing hobby.
